Hi, welcome to my homepage!
I am a fourth-year PhD candidate in the Dept of CMSE, MSU advised by Prof Elizabeth Munch. Prior to moving to the United States, I spent a year as an intern at IST Austria, working with the research group of Prof Herbert Edelsbrunner. I graduated from IISER Tirupati with a BSMS in Mathematics (with distinction) in 2022.
My research focus lies in exploring topology from a computational perspective. I am exploring the hidden patterns and relationships within datasets, contributing to the advancement of data analysis techniques. My current research involves studying graph-based topological signatures, mainly mapper graphs.
Outside of academia, I interact with the world through my camera lens and literature.
April 2026: I will be joining Intel as a Graduate Summer Intern this year.
April 2026: I was awarded the Outstanding Graduate Student Award for 2025-26 in the Computational Mathematics, Science and Engineering.
April 2025: I passed my comprehensive exam on April 14, 2025. I am a PhD candidate now.
April 2025: Our work on computing an optimal upper bound for the mapper interleaving distance is live now. Find the preprint here.
